Hand Roasted Coffee Coffee Creations supply hand roasted espresso coffee beans, roasted in small batches 3 times a week. Each 1kg bag of coffee is hand filled and labelled with the roast date. Your espresso coffee beans will be delivered as fresh as possible, and should be used within 14 days to get the best flavour from them. Our espresso coffee beans are at their best 5 - 20 days after being roasted. We recommend that you only order beans that will be used within this period. Buying fresh coffee in bulk to get a discount is a false economy unless they will be used within two weeks. Companies that offer bulk discounts on fresh coffee clearly do not understand the importance of freshness in serving great coffee.

These are our recommended steps for making consistently great espresso drinks -

1. Knock out the waste grounds from the last coffee made.
2. Rinse the filter handle under the hot water tap of the machine.
3. Dry the filter basket.
4. Dose the filter basket with the amount of coffee required (one or two shots)
5. Spread out the coffee in the filter with your finger so it is even.
6. Rest the filter handle on the tamping mat and tamp with even pressure.
7. Wipe around the top of the filter basket with your finger to make sure there are no coffee grounds.
8. Before inserting the filter handle, run the water through the group for a few seconds. This will remove any coffee left over from the last cup, and set the temperature for your drink.
9. Insert the filter handle into the group head.
10. Place the cup or brew jugs under the spouts.
11. Press the button required for the number of drinks being made.
12. Leave the filter handle attached to the machine until you need to make the next drink, this will keep it at the optimum temperature.
