White Peony is a superb white loose leaf tea of the finest quality. It is produced in China's Fujian province during early spring, by carefully selecting only the finest tender top bud and two leaves. It takes it's name from the appearance of the downy leaves said to be like delicate petals of the Chinese White Peony.

This truly is one of the most exquisite teas you can buy and an absolute pleasure to drink, what's more, white teas are now recognised as being higher in Antioxidants and lower in caffeine then Green tea.

White Tea is produced in such small numbers that it is very rare. Authentic White Tea comes only from the Fujian province. Like Champagne, a White Tea may only truly be called a White Tea when it is from the Fujian Province. It is far more delicate than a Green Tea due to the time it is harvested and the age of the tips.
